J.B. [2002] NO. 62 Document
Pursuant to the Notice on the Printing and Distribution of Modification Plans of National Standards for Engineering Construction in 1995~1996 (J.B. [1997] NO.4), this Code for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Water Supply Drainage and Heating Works is rectified jointly by the Construction Department of Liaoning Province and other relevant departments. Our ministry has arranged for the examination by related departments of the Code and hereby approved it as a national standard with the serial number of GB 50242-2002 and to be effective on April 1 2002. The 3.3.2, 3.3.16, 4.1.2, 4.2.3, 4.3.1, 5.2.1, 8.2.1, 8.3.1, 8.5.1, 8.5.2, 8.6.1, 8.6.3, 9.2.7, 10.2.1, 11.3.3, 13.2.6, 13.4.1, 13.4.4, 13.5.3 and 13.6.1 articles hereof are compulsory and must be strictly and exactly performed. Upon the execution of this Code, the original Code for Quality Acceptance of Heating and Sanitary Engineering GBJ242-82 and any related parts in Code for Quality Inspection and Acceptance of Building Heating and Sanitary and Gas Engineering GBJ302-88 with respect of "heating and sanitary engineering" shall be abolished and terminated immediately.
As regards this Code, the Ministry of Construction of the P.R.C is responsible for its administration and interpretation with respect to the aforementioned compulsory articles, the Rural and Urban Construction Commission of Shenyang undertakes the interpretation of and in connection with detailed technical contents, and the standard quota institute under the Ministry of Construction arranges for the publishing and distribution from time to time by the China Building Materials Industry Printing House.
